Terms & Conditions for Travelers
Booking Terms & Conditions
Effective 2025
Thank you for choosing Jeni’s Global Yoga Trips. These Booking Terms & Conditions
(“Terms”) form the agreement between you (“you,” “traveler,” or “client”) and Jeni’s Global
Yoga Trips (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a trip with us, you acknowledge that you have read,
understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, including the Assumption of Risk, Release of
Liability, and Dispute Resolution provisions contained herein.
1. The Agreement
Your booking, these Terms, and all trip details listed on our website together form your
binding agreement with Jeni’s Global Yoga Trips. If you book on behalf of other
travelers, you confirm that all travelers have read and agreed to these Terms. The traveler making
the booking is responsible for ensuring that all travelers in the booking are aware of and accept
these Terms.
2. Booking, Deposit, and Payments
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $500 (or higher for certain trips) is required to confirm your
booking. If you book within 60 days of the trip start date (or 90–120 days for designated trips),
the full trip price is due at booking. Trips may require a minimum number of participants. If the
minimum is not met, we may cancel the trip and provide a full refund of payments made.
Deposit Credits
If a retreat is cancelled due to COVID-related travel restrictions, your deposit, less any non
recoverable costs (defined below), may be applied to another retreat for up to 3 years. If you
cancel before the final payment date, your deposit, less any non-recoverable costs, may be
applied to a future retreat for up to 3 years. Unused deposits expire after 3 years. All deposits
are otherwise, non-refundable.
Final Payment
Your balance is due 60 days before the trip start date (or 90 days for certain trips).
If payment is not received by the deadline, we have the right to cancel your booking and retain
your deposit.
3. Traveler Responsibilities
Travel Documents
You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport, visas, permits, and any other
required documents. We are not responsible if you are denied entry due to missing or incorrect
documentation. Please note, many destinations require passports to be valid for at least six (6)
months beyond the travel date.
Required Information
You must provide required personal information no later than the final payment date. This may
include your passport details, date of birth, medical information, travel itinerary, and dietary
restrictions. If you do not, we have the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.
Health and Participation
By booking, you confirm you are in suitable physical and mental health to participate safely in
the trip. You agree to disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or limitations that may
affect your participation in retreat activities. Some activities may take place outdoors, on uneven
terrain, or in warm or humid climates, and result in physical exertion. You are responsible for
determining whether you are physically capable of participating in the retreat. If you have any
concerns about your health or fitness, you should consult a physician prior to travel.
We reserve the right to request medical clearance from a licensed physician and may decline or
limit participation in certain activities if we reasonably believe participation may pose a health or
safety risk to you or other travelers.
Participation in all activities is voluntary. You may choose not to participate in any activity that
you believe exceeds your physical abilities.
4. Pricing, Inclusions, and Exclusions
What’s Included
Inclusions vary by retreat and may include accommodations, listed meals, ground transfers, yoga
instruction, and specific activities described on our website.
What’s Not Included
Items typically not included are flights, travel insurance, visas, immunizations, alcoholic
beverages, optional activities, gratuities, and personal expenses.
5. Roommate Matching
If you request double occupancy and travel alone, we will attempt to match you with a
same-gender roommate. Roommate matching is not guaranteed. If a suitable roomate match is
found by the final payment date, single occupancy pricing applies.
If a match is made after final payment, your single supplement will be refunded.
If a matched roommate cancels prior to the trip, we will attempt to arrange a new match. If a
replacement roommate cannot be found, you will be responsible for the applicable single
occupancy supplement.
We strive to match roommates thoughtfully; however, personal preferences, schedules, and
travel styles may differ. While we hope all roommate pairings are enjoyable, we cannot
guarantee compatibility between roommates.
6. Optional Activities
Optional activities that are not listed as included are not part of the trip or Agreement. Optional
activities are operated by independent third-party providers. While we may assist with
arranging these activities as a courtesy, Jeni’s Global Yoga Trips is not responsible for the
services provided and assumes no liability in connection with them.
7. Cancellations and Refunds

refundable deposit.

You will receive a refund of all payments minus non-recoverable costs. Non-recoverable costs
may include vendor deposits, lodging, transportation payments, permits, reservations, currency
conversion loss, or any fees that cannot be refunded by third parties. The determination of such
costs shall be made in our reasonable discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize
these costs and will notify travelers as soon as reasonably possible.
8. Itineraries
Itineraries may change due to weather, local conditions, instructor availability, or other
circumstances. Adjustments may include changes to activities, accommodations,
instructors, or transportation. Yoga instructors may adjust class structure based on their
teaching style and group needs.
9. Right to Decline or Remove Participants
We may decline a booking or remove a traveler before or during the trip if their behavior
is unsafe, disruptive, or impacts other travelers.
• Removed before the trip: full refund.
• Removed after the trip begins: no refund.

10. Travel Insurance; Medical Treatment
We strongly recommend travel insurance for all bookings. Some trips may require it.
You are responsible for all losses not covered by our limited refund policies, including
flight delays, medical expenses, trip interruptions, and lost property.
If you become ill or injured during the trip, we may assist you in obtaining medical care.
However, you are responsible for all medical costs and expenses incurred. We are not responsible
for the availability, quality, or outcome of medical services.
11. Photos and Marketing Use
You grant us permission to use photos or videos taken during the trip that include your
image or name for marketing purposes on a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual basis.
If you publicly post photos or videos from the trip, you grant us permission to re-post them. We
will make good-faith efforts to credit you.
12. Health, Safety, and Travel Advisories
You are responsible for reviewing travel advisories, safety conditions, and required
immunizations for your destination.
13. Third-Party Operators
We work with independent contractor partners such as hotels, transport providers, and local
guides. These suppliers operate independently and are not employees, agents, or representatives
of Jeni’s Global Yoga Trips. We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, negligence, or
services.
14. Assumption of Risk; Physical Activity Risks
Travel involves risks, including illness, injury, delays, or unexpected events. You
voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the trip.
Participation in yoga classes, meditation sessions, excursions, and other retreat activities involves
physical exertion and inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strain, falls, injury,
aggravation of pre-existing conditions, and other physical or emotional responses. By
participating, you voluntarily assume all such risks and confirm that you are physically capable of
participating in these activities. You acknowledge that yoga instructors and retreat leaders are not
medical professionals and that any guidance provided is not medical advice.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Jeni’s Global Yoga Trips and its affiliates are
not responsible for injury, illness, property loss, delays, or inconvenience caused by
third-party providers, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our control.
You release us from all claims arising from your participation in the trip. To the fullest extent
permitted by law, the total liability of Jeni’s Global Yoga Trips arising from or related to any
booking or trip shall not exceed the total amount paid by the traveler for the trip.
16. Privacy
We may use your personal information for trip operations, customer support, and
marketing. We may share your information with partners and suppliers as necessary to operate the
trip.
17. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your participation in a trip shall be resolved through
confidential, binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration
Association or a similar arbitration provider. The prevailing party is entitled to their attorney
fees. Disputes must be brought on an individual basis only and not as part of any class,
collective, or representative action.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions
will remain in full force and effect.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
20. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The version posted on our website at the time of
